Move to make a difference

I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

Hey everyone,

I’m moving for men’s mental health because I want to make a real difference not for myself, but for every man who feels like he has to stay silent. Whether it’s your mates, brothers, dads, uncles, or any male figure in your life, it’s so important to check in, ask how they’re really going, and remind them it’s okay to speak up. I was guilty of bottling everything up I’ll admit, but until I made the change and spoke up to those around me, it had changed my life. I thought I had to stay strong and deal with it alone, well FALSE. Whether a stranger, best mate, or relative, speak up and don’t be afraid or ashamed to. I know first hand, it’s a lot easier said than done, but any small change or difference will help strengthen men’s ability to talk up through their mental health battles  Through a growing passion for men’s mental health I have decided to set myself the goal of running 100km over the next month — not just to challenge myself physically, but to raise awareness and start conversations that could save lives. This is my way to giving back to men who struggle, and encouraging others to do the same. I’m fundraising for MensLine Australia, a vital 24/7 support service for men in crisis or emotional distress.
