My why
Tuesday 16th JunI’ve always been the bloke who could make people laugh and keep the good times going. But when everyone heads home and the noise dies down, I’ve had my own battles to fight.
One has been a punitive voice in my own head.
For a long time, Ive kept that to myself because I thought I should just deal with it. These days, I’m working on dropping that mindset and recognising that mental health matters. When we’re mentally strong, we’re better equipped to show up for our families, our mates, our work, and ourselves.
That’s why I’m raising money for MensLine Australia. They provide free, 24/7 professional counselling by phone, online chat, and video—but demand is greater than the funding available, and too many calls go unanswered.
